Job summary

Synthomer plc is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner/Scheduler at our Ohio facility. You will lead planning, scheduling, and PM execution to support production continuity, reliability, and cost control, while ensuring safety and process safety management guidelines are followed.

You will manage a SAP CMMS environment, drive RCFA/FMEA based improvements, and collaborate with production, engineering, and SHE teams.

Qualifications

• BS/technical degree in a related engineering field or equivalent.
• 5+ years in maintenance within a chemical facility.
• Experience with ERP systems for work orders and PM tracking.
• Knowledge of reliability-based maintenance approaches.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety, health, and environmental compliance in daily work.
• Support plant strategies with near-term maintenance goals.
• Define and manage planning and scheduling standards and procedures.
• Oversee the PM program and update procedures and schedules.
• Manage SAP CMMS usage and optimize cost and reliability.
• Apply RCFA and FMEA techniques to address reliability issues.
• Participate in HAZOP analyses and safety reviews.
