Job summary

Synthomer is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler at the Mogadore, OH site to drive long-term asset reliability through data-driven planning and preventive/predictive maintenance. You will manage SAP maintenance, train staff, and lead root-cause analyses to improve equipment performance and reduce unplanned downtime.

The role requires 5-7 years of plant maintenance experience with CMMS/SAP proficiency, supervisory exposure, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Associate in Applied Science degree or a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of plant maintenance experience with exposure to reliability practices.
• 2-3 years of experience as a maintenance planner using CMMS (SAP preferred).
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience preferably in a maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

• Create integrated maintenance work plans and schedules for supervisors and the maintenance team.
• Ensure all work orders and maintenance log items are reviewed, entered, and closed in SAP.
• Deliver SAP maintenance training for maintenance and operations personnel.
• Conduct field walk-throughs to identify and document job requirements and procedures.
• Collaborate with the maintenance manager to schedule manpower and priorities.
• Monitor and improve asset performance using KPIs like MTBF and MTTR.
