Job summary

Rangen, LLC Inc. is hiring a Maintenance & Safety Supervisor to lead daily maintenance in a 24/7 feed manufacturing facility. You will drive safety inspections, train staff, and coordinate with production to minimize downtime while maintaining equipment reliability.

You will oversee preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with LOTO, confined space, and other safety standards, shaping a strong safety culture across the plant.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to lead employees while remaining actively involved in maintenance work.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety practices.
• Ability to conduct inspections and follow corrective actions through completion.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced 24-hour environment.
• Experience developing or managing preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform daily maintenance activities across the plant.
• Schedule and manage preventive maintenance; ensure safe, correct, efficient work.
• Train and develop maintenance staff.
• Inspect equipment and address issues before downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, histories, and parts inventory.
• Coordinate maintenance with production to minimize downtime.
• Lead the plant safety inspection program and training.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and capital projects.
• Participate in incident investigations and follow-up actions.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings.
