Job summary

fairlife, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance operations, prioritizing work orders and preventive maintenance to keep production safe and reliable. You will supervise a maintenance team across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and planning functions, coordinating with operations to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong CMMS usage, uncovering root causes, and driving continuous improvement while ensuring OSHA and safety compliance across facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role.
• Ability to lead teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments with competing priorities.
• Strong knowledge of facility infrastructure including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and utilities.
• Proficient with CMMS for work orders, preventive maintenance, and asset history.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with project management software.
• Ability to read schematics and P&IDs for troubleshooting.
• Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with cross-functional collaborators.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily maintenance team activities across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation.
• Address maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime and support operations.
• Manage work orders, preventive maintenance, spare parts, inventories, and maintenance history.
• Solicit bids for outside contracts and oversee contractors to ensure safety and quality.
• Support hiring, training, coaching, and development of maintenance staff.
• Maintain documentation on coaching, corrective actions, and disciplinary records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and OSHA, EPA, and related requirements.
• Maintain facility drawings and safety maps; ensure regulatory compliance for electrical/instrumentation maintenance.
