Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Repairs mechanical, electrical, and plumbing breakdowns.
• Checks and cleans fire extinguishers, hoses, cabinets, compressors, tools, and equipment.
• Moves and stores furniture, equipment and supplies.
• Patches, plasters, repairs and paints drywall, walls, tile, ceilings, floors and doors.
• Cleans and replaces filters on all equipment, maintains safe and secure working area.
• Keeps sidewalks, common and parking areas clean of debris, ice and snow.
• Replaces sprinkler heads that are corroded, rusted or in default.
• Coordinates cleaning by maintenance personnel.
• Drives company vehicles, logs mileage and maintenance forms, performs routine vehicle upkeep.
• Assists in kitchen area with daily upkeep and inventory of supplies.
• Occasionally paints wall surfaces throughout building.
• Participates in evacuation drills with assigned duties.
• Requests supervision when unclear about responsibilities, safety or work.
• Reports safety hazards to supervisor for correction.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
