Job summary

Apploi in Philadelphia seeks an on-site Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain the assigned unit under supervision. You will inspect residents’ rooms, dining areas, and storage spaces, monitor the maintenance log, and coordinate work orders with the ES Department.

Candidates need a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year in maintenance, and basic skills in plumbing, carpentry and painting.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, write, and understand the English Language.
• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Minimum 1 year experience in maintenance or building management services, including general repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Some knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry and painting.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and evaluates the physical condition of the unit daily (rooms, bathrooms, dining areas, storage).
• Monitors maintenance logs and completes tasks.
• Attends morning huddle and communicates with the team.
• Directs, plans, and follows up on work orders for the unit's ES Department.
• Performs snow removal as necessary.
