Job summary

Cardinal Group Companies is seeking a Maintenance Team Member in Philadelphia. This full‑time, non‑exempt role focuses on protecting, maintaining, and enhancing the community while ensuring prompt resolution of resident maintenance issues.

Responsibilities include servicing facilities, responding to work orders (including after hours), inspecting areas for standards, and adhering to EPA, health, and safety regulations. Weekend and on‑call duties apply.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of pool service and maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must lift a minimum of 75 lbs and work 8–12 hour shifts.
• Weekend work and on‑call emergencies required.
• Ability to embody Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values daily.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility and grounds based on community objectives.
• Follows safe operation, maintenance and repair procedures for equipment, including health, safety, and OSHA programs.
• Responds to work orders in a timely manner, including after hours on-call maintenance; participates in on-call rotation.
• Assists with inspection of public areas and resident apartments to ensure standards are met.
• Follows EPA and other requirements for air conditioning, refrigeration, pools and water chemistry.
• Keeps storage areas, tools, and equipment secure at all times.
• Participates in Cardinal U training as required.
