Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Urbandale, IA to lead a skilled maintenance team and ensure safe, reliable manufacturing operations. You will drive equipment reliability, oversee preventive and predictive maintenance, and support continuous improvement to maximize uptime and performance.

The role requires 5+ years of maintenance/ops experience with supervisory background, PLC knowledge, and Lean Six Sigma familiarity. Strong coaching and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering or maintenance preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred, demonstrated via a major improvement project.
• 5+ years of operations or maintenance experience; 2+ years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team to ensure safe, reliable manufacturing operations.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs and downtime planning.
• Use diagnostic tools (vibration/oil analysis) to identify issues and prevent failures.
• Coach teams in root-cause analysis to eliminate repeat failures.
• Collaborate with line leads to drive operational improvements and asset reliability.
