Job summary

Encorr Sheets, part of Schwarz Partners, seeks a Maintenance Purchaser/Planner at our Ontario, CA facility. The role handles general purchasing for maintenance, and planning within the maintenance department, coordinating technician work and supporting the Plant Engineer.

The position requires researching suppliers, issuing POs, negotiating terms, and monitoring shipments to ensure reliability. It involves month-end reconciliations and collaboration with accounting and vendors.

Qualifications

• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
• Prepare purchase orders and review requisitions for goods and services.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage price records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tracking of purchase orders, receivers, and month-end accruals.
• Assist management with purchase of capital equipment and maintenance budgeting.
• Monitor shipments and ensure on-time delivery; address delays and variances.
