Job summary

Encorr Sheets in Ontario, CA seeks a Maintenance Purchaser/Planner to manage purchasing for maintenance operations and planning with the maintenance team. You will schedule technician work, track orders, and support the Plant Engineer in reliability initiatives to minimize downtime.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 5+ years in corrugated manufacturing purchasing. Associate/Bachelor’s preferred; strong MS Office skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have high accuracy and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare purchase orders and solicit bids.
• Research and evaluate suppliers on price, quality, service and reliability.
• Monitor shipments and ensure on-time delivery; track orders for month-end close.
• Support plant engineer and maintenance budgeting and capex reviews.
• Maintain vendor inventories and review product specifications.
