Job summary

Lifespace Communities at Friendship Village South Hills in Upper St Clair, PA is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to support a busy maintenance team serving residents. You will receive and prioritize work orders, track supplies, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime while maintaining safety and compliance.

You will also help manage vendor communications, assist with preventive maintenance scheduling, and maintain thorough records to ensure reliable, safe operations for our community

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative support or a similar role.
• Familiarity with scheduling and management software/tools.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and preventive maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prioritize, and manage work orders to ensure timely and effective maintenance response.
• Track inventory of necessary maintenance supplies and equipment; order and replenish materials as needed.
• Receive estimates on approved projects, organize via spreadsheet and submit project through system.
• Coordinate and schedule repair activities to minimize downtime and disruption to plant operations.
• Support the director with contractor communications and coordinating service providers to schedule maintenance and repair activities.
• Assist in maintaining a preventive maintenance schedule to ensure timely completion of routine tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, supply usage, contractor engagements, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assist in departmental maintenance activities to comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
