Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a Planner I in Safford, AZ to support planning, scheduling, and execution for maintenance activities. You will collaborate with supervisors, participate in planning meetings, and help ensure material and equipment readiness.

The role emphasizes data integrity in SAP and coordination with Global Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will bring 4 years of field maintenance or planning experience in mining/manufacturing, or an equivalent combination with technical education.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 4 years field maintenance experience in mining/manufacturing or industrial operations, or 4 years related field maintenance experience with 2 years of planning experience, or 4 years of planning experience in field maintenance.
• Associates in technical field and 2 years related field maintenance or 2 years planning experience in mining/manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Bachelor's degree in technical field and 1 year related experience in field maintenance or planning in mining/manufacturing or industrial operations.
• General knowledge of Maintenance Planning
• Basic understanding of Mining and/or Process Equipment
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications
• Basic understanding of maintenance management systems and associated applications
• Demonstrated professional/effective written and oral communications skills.

Responsabilités

• Support the area Supervisor in all facets of job preparation, execution and follow up as prescribed by Freeport-McMoRan standards.
• Interact with the Supervisor to establish and monitor planned schedules for assigned activities; participate in planning meetings and review/schedule work orders.
• Perform Runtime Forecasting and develop, monitor, and adjust schedules; maintain these schedules in the SAP system.
• Execute and maintain history for all assigned activities in the SAP system; engage with Global Supply Chain to control warehouse levels.
• Prepare scopes of work for internal and external jobs and interface with Global Supply Chain; may deal directly with vendors for services and equipment.
• Collaborate with senior Planners and first-line supervisors for planned major production shutdowns.
• Maintain data integrity in the SAP system to achieve planning objectives; provide data to support maintenance management decisions and budgets.
• Generate regular and ad hoc reports for site management to measure KPIs.
• Perform other duties as needed.
