Junior Maintenance Planner/Scheduler – Food Manufacturing
Location: Lynn, MA | Food Manufacturing Facility
Contract-to-Hire Opportunity | Full-Time | 1st Shift
Estimated Salary: $65,000–$80,000/year

Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for maintenance planning and scheduling? Join our dynamic team in Lynn, MA, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and manage daily and weekly maintenance schedules in alignment with production demands.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Coordinate and monitor preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
  • Work Order Management: Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track and document maintenance tasks.
  • Parts Coordination: Collaborate with inventory personnel to ensure the availability of necessary parts and materials.
  • Contractor Liaison: Schedule and oversee external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on maintenance activities, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years in maintenance planning or a related field within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment requiring knowledge of refrigeration, plumbing, industrial electrical and mechanical systems and maintenance, and automated manufacturing process controls and equipment.
  • Proficiency in CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform tasks that may require standing, walking, and climbing.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: Competitive annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience.
