Overview:
Reporting directly to the Facility Manager, the Maintenance Planner / Scheduler is responsible for improving workforce productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays. This role involves planning and scheduling (coordination) of manpower, parts and materials, and equipment access for work orders in Oracle eAM and Viziya Scheduler.

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Act as the principal contact and liaison between Maintenance, Operations, Sanitation, QA, Safety, and other departments, ensuring timely, efficient, and quality service for all internal partners.
- Planning Activities include:
- Initial job screening and approval of work requests.
- Analyzing job requirements by consulting with requestors, SMEs, technicians, and supervisors.
- Researching jobs using work order and equipment history in Oracle, OEMs, and engineering departments.
- Detailed job planning, including selecting the best approach, determining steps, and resource needs.
- Preparing work orders with detailed tasks, labor plans, materials, permits, and specifications, reviewed with the Facility Manager and requestor as needed.
- Identifying and including all required materials in the work order.
- Managing contractor packages and providing support, coordination, and supervision as directed by the Facilities Manager.
Scheduling Activities:
- Weekly scheduling of maintenance personnel for the upcoming two weeks, with assistance from Facilities Managers and supervisors.
- Scheduling larger rebuilds and longer downtime events in advance.
- Coordinating schedules with equipment downtime and sanitation activities.
Reviewing preventive and corrective maintenance compliance and reporting schedule status. Managing internal and contractor projects, maintaining records, and performing other tasks as assigned.Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 2-4 year technical degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of industrial maintenance experience, with skills in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and utilities systems.
- Ability to read schematics, prints, and drawings.
- Proficiency with Oracle eAM, Viziya Scheduler, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Office Suite.
- Ammonia Refrigeration experience and knowledge are significant advantages.
