Job summary

CJ Schwan’s is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our plant team in Pasadena, TX. You will prioritize work orders, review blueprints, organize parts, and estimate labor hours to keep our machinery running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a two-year trade degree, two years of related experience, and familiarity with SAP. This role offers a competitive salary with a 5% incentive and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in specialized trade or equivalent.
• SAP experience is a big plus.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes work to be completed, feasibility of work orders and approval.
• Obtains blueprints and/or electrical schematics for review.
• Organizes parts and tooling; verifies equipment availability.
• Estimates maintenance labor hours and allocates materials to work orders.
• Coordinates work and follows up with originating department.
• Schedules preventive maintenance and maintains work order documentation.
• Establishes preventive maintenance schedules and recommends equipment changes.
• Maintains scheduling documentation including dates and costs.
• Schedules safety checks of all micro switches and emergency stops and maintains OSHA records.
