Job summary

CJ Schwan's in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our plant operations. You will prioritize work orders, obtain schematics, organize parts, and schedule preventive maintenance across machinery to ensure uptime. The ideal candidate holds a two-year technical degree, or equivalent experience, and has strong collaboration and communication skills.

SAP experience is a big plus. We offer a base salary range of $58,500 to $97,500 with a 5% annual incentive, plus health

• Two-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong collaboration and writing/communication skills with cross-functional teams.
• Intermediate mechanical, electrical, and automation aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes work to be completed and feasibility of work orders.
• Obtains blueprints and/or electrical schematics for review.
• Organizes parts and tooling; verifies equipment availability for maintenance work.
• Estimates labor hours and allocates material to work orders.
• Coordinates work and follows up with originating department.
• Schedules preventive maintenance and maintains work order documentation.
