Job summary

Royal (a MacLean Power Systems Company) is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across production and facility equipment. You will work closely with maintenance technicians, supervisors, engineering, and purchasing to plan, resource, and complete work safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in a relevant technical field.
• High school diploma or GED with related planning experience considered.
• 5+ years in industrial maintenance with planning/scheduling exposure.
• Experience with CMMS systems listed above or similar.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and schedule preventive and predictive maintenance for production and facility equipment.
• Create detailed work orders with labor, parts, tools, safety steps, and ETAs.
• Coordinate maintenance with production to minimize downtime.
• Maintain CMMS: create, update, close work orders and track metrics.
• Review equipment history to identify failures and suggest reliability improvements.
• Plan shutdowns and major overhauls; ensure parts and tools are available.
• Collaborate with purchasing and vendors for materials/services.
• Monitor backlog; prioritize by criticality and business needs.
• Track PM compliance, uptime, MTBF, and MTTR; support RCA and CI initiatives.
• Maintain equipment documentation and ensure OSHA/environmental compliance.
