Job summary

Croda is seeking a Maintenance Planner to develop detailed maintenance work plans for safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution. You will bridge operations, maintenance, engineering, and stores to ensure proper scoping, resourcing, and scheduling before execution.

The role emphasizes proactive planning to maximize workforce productivity, with responsibilities spanning work planning, scheduling support, materials coordination, reliability improvements, CMMS management, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, or Industrial Technology.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3–7 years of maintenance, operations, reliability, or planning experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience with CMMS platforms such as SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM, or similar systems.
• Experience in chemical, manufacturing, oil & gas, power generation, or related industries preferred.
• Microsoft Excel, Word, and CMMS proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Review and prioritize maintenance work requests and develop detailed job plans for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Define labor requirements, tools, equipment, permits, and materials for planned work and create comprehensive work packages.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance supervisors to establish weekly and daily schedules.
• Maintain backlog of planned and approved work orders and support shutdowns and outages.
• Identify spare parts and coordinate with procurement to ensure parts availability.
• Analyze maintenance history and equipment performance and participate in reliability improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance plans in CMMS and update task lists and procedures.
• Ensure planned work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
