Job summary

Amcor in Wisconsin seeks an experienced maintenance professional to improve equipment reliability and asset availability. You will plan tasks, manage parts, and develop predictive and preventative programs while coordinating contractor services and optimizing downtime.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, SAP expertise, and a track record of delivering safe, efficient maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Associates or Bachelor in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Four-year degree would meet formal requirements; equivalent mix of education and work accepted.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work habits and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Ensure equipment, parts, and personnel are available to complete work orders with minimal downtime.
• Create and communicate work orders from maintenance requests and plans.
• Review completed orders for discrepancies and formally close them.
• Provide technical advice on equipment modification and project time estimates.
• Prioritize planned work based on availability, safety, and contractor access.
• Coordinate contractor services and collect data on equipment breakdowns.
• Implement and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Support training programs to expand the maintenance team's knowledge.
• Monitor progress on complex projects and coordinate with the Maintenance Manager.
