Job summary

Amcor Ltd. is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to improve equipment reliability and asset availability. You will develop efficient maintenance schedules, manage parts inventory, and enhance maintenance programs using Emaint and SAP.

You will lead with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, coordinate with contractors, and drive safety and efficiency across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• A degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Previous work experience as a maintenance mechanic or electrician.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical crafts: millwright, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, sheet metal, machinist skills.
• Strong electrical knowledge: AC/DC, electronics, power distribution.
• Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of SAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work habits and comply with safety procedures and goals.
• Ensure availability of equipment, parts, and personnel to complete work orders with minimal downtime.
• Create and communicate work orders from maintenance requests and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Review completed work orders for discrepancies in time, materials, and notes.
• Close work orders after review and document results.
• Provide technical advice on equipment modifications and time estimates for projects.
• Prioritize planned work based on availability, safety, and contractor resources.
