Job summary

PLZ Corp. in Missouri seeks a Maintenance Planner/Coordinator to orchestrate preventive and predictive maintenance across the facility. You will plan, schedule, and track work orders to minimize downtime and improve efficiency, while collaborating with production teams.

Responsibilities include creating SOPs, training staff on safety practices, coordinating vendors, issuing PO requests, and supporting GMP/Fire Safety audits. Commitment to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience in planning and scheduling preventive and predictive maintenance is preferred.
  • Familiarity with GMP, food safety, and fire safety standards is desirable.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and scheduling preventive and predictive maintenance according to predefined frequency and equipment state.
  • Generating and assigning work orders (preventive, inspection, emergency, corrective).
  • Attending daily production meetings and reporting maintenance/equipment issues.
  • Creating SOPs/work instructions for equipment setup to achieve uniform quality.
  • Training maintenance personnel on safety practices (BBS, PPE, LOTO).
  • Coordinating contractors/vendors for facility maintenance activities.
  • Issuing purchasing order requests for parts and repairs.
  • Communicating with Operations/Scheduling to align production line availability for major overhauls.
  • Assisting Maintenance Director with audits (GMP, Food Safety, Fire Safety) and addressing audit findings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
