Job summary

PLZ Corp is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance across our facility, planning activities by equipment state and predefined frequency (RCM) to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.

You will generate and assign work orders, attend daily production meetings, create SOPs for equipment setup, train staff on safety protocols, coordinate contractors, issue purchase requests, and support audits (GMP, Food Safety, Fire Safety).

Qualifications

  • Experience planning and scheduling preventive/predictive maintenance.
  • Ability to coordinate with operations, maintenance and vendors.
  • Familiarity with GMP, Food Safety or safety audits is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Plan preventive and predictive maintenance across the facility by equipment/state.
  • Generate and assign work orders to prevent downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Attend daily production meetings and report maintenance issues.
  • Create SOPs/work instructions for equipment setup to ensure quality.
  • Train maintenance personnel on safety practices (BBS, PPE, LOTO).
  • Coordinate contractors/vendors for maintenance activities.
  • Issue purchasing requests for parts and repairs.
  • Collaborate with Operations to plan major equipment overhauls.
  • Assist Maintenance Director with audits and address findings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
