Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Planner I to support our Florence, CO cement plant. You will prepare detailed job plans including specifications, machinery history, parts and tools lists, and safety procedures to ensure readiness before scheduling.

You will work with maintenance staff and supervisors to define scope, plan downtime, and manage parts, labor, and costs, ensuring safety and efficiency in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3+ years of experience, or HS diploma with 6+ years.
• Field of Study: Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years cement manufacturing or related industry experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed job plans with specifications, machinery history, parts and tools lists, and safety procedures.
• Review work orders and sites to ensure work is reasonable and ready before scheduling.
• Define scope of work and establish preparatory work before downtime.
• Develop detailed job plans with sequences, downtime, and man-hours.
• List safety procedures and required parts; ensure parts in stock before scheduling.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Staff, Supervisors, and stores.
• Assist in annual budgeting and monthly forecasting; ensure plans stay within budget.
