Job summary

Amrize seeks a Production Technician at our Florence, Colorado cement plant. You will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the efficient operation of all production processes under the supervision of the Production Coordinator.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1–3 years of experience, and the ability to work rotating shifts. Proficiency with basic computer tools and SAP is preferred. Amrize offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Knowledge of SAP and basic computer usage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor efficient operation of all production processes.
• Perform routine operation and preventive maintenance inspections; report unusual conditions and generate work orders.
• Operate dump trucks, skid loader, front end loader, forklift and other equipment.
• Reclaim sand, iron ore, gypsum and clinker as directed.
• Lubricate, inspect, and adjust process equipment as needed.
• Complete safety inspections and required documentation.
• Work rotating shifts and uphold health, safety and environmental policies.
