Job summary

PACCAR is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to plan, schedule and monitor maintenance activities in our US manufacturing environment. You will coordinate maintenance technicians, prioritize workloads and collaborate with Production, Engineering and contractors to maximize equipment reliability.

The role emphasizes CMMS/SAP usage, strong mechanical aptitude and excellent planning abilities, with regular weekday hours and potential shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in maintenance planning/operations in an industrial setting.
• Experience coordinating maintenance technicians and work orders.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical documentation.
• Strong planning, scheduling, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple technicians and changing production priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• SAP experience and MS Office proficiency are preferred.
• Manufacturing maintenance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize daily maintenance technician assignments.
• Adjust priorities based on production needs and equipment conditions.
• Respond to maintenance breakages and urgent requests.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion and documentation.
• Escalate downtime events and resource constraints.
• Communicate across Maintenance, Production and Engineering teams.
• Plan preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Maintain work orders, equipment records and CMMS data.
• Coordinate parts, vendors and resources for maintenance work.
• Support maintenance process improvements and equipment reliability.
• Promote safe and effective maintenance execution.
