Packaging Corporation of America is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate maintenance scheduling and to optimize uptime across the plant. You will work with Customer Service, Scheduling, and Production to balance resources, safely plan workloads, and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.

The role requires 5+ years in equipment/electrical maintenance, strong organizational skills, and a proactive safety mindset.

Competenze

• Associate’s degree or production maintenance certification required.
• 5+ years’ experience in equipment and electrical maintenance.
• Ability to work alternative work schedule and flexible hours.
• High degree of safety awareness and teamwork.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience with containerboard manufacturing is a plus.

Mansioni

• Coordinate department activity with Customer Service, Scheduling and Production to develop an optimum maintenance schedule.
• Plan and schedule time, parts, and personnel to meet maintenance and production needs with minimal downtime.
• Estimate, plan, coordinate, and schedule maintenance work including weekly schedules, inspections, outages, and preventative maintenance.
• Inspect jobs in progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Prepare reports on workload, backlog, delays, work orders, and equipment history.
