Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a dynamic maintenance leader to oversee the maintenance work control process at the plant level.

You will prioritize work orders, develop detailed job plans, and ensure the right parts and skills are available to complete tasks efficiently. You will own the CMMS, supervise Smithfield employees and contractors, and support safety programs while driving continuous improvement in maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Planning & Execution: plan maintenance, prioritize work orders, ensure materials/tools are available.
• Train maintenance personnel on CMMS procedures and safety.
• Assist with PSM program elements, audits, and compliance tracking.
• Maintain CMMS data, generate reports on progress and schedules.
• Lead and develop a maintenance team, including contractors.
