Job summary

Shin-Etsu Silicones of America is seeking a Maintenance Planner to oversee CMMS data, spare parts inventory, and coordination with technicians and outside contractors at the Akron site.

You will create PMs, manage labor hours, purchase requisitions, and track parts deliveries while ensuring health and environmental safety standards. This role backs the Maintenance Supervisor and supports continuous plant reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience with CMMS and detailed equipment understanding preferred.
• Journeyman Certification is a plus.
• 5 years’ industrial maintenance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Back-up for Maintenance Supervisor.
• Create PMs for equipment (new and existing).
• Manage MPulse system data entry and maintenance.
• Enter and manage labor hours, tools, resources, parts.
• Audit and verify work order information.
