Job summary

Materion in Ohio seeks a Maintenance Planner to own and streamline maintenance planning across the primary operations. Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical or manufacturing field (engineering preferred).
• Minimum 5 years as a mechanical or electrical technician or 2 years as a maintenance supervisor.
• Experience in an industrial manufacturing or military environment.
• Minimum 5 years as a technician or 3 years as a supervisor preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience required.
• Technical Equipment Maintenance Problem-Solving, Attention to Detail, Job Visualization, Proactive Mindset, Sequential Thinking required.
• Organization Skills, verbal and written communication skills, and Computer Literacy (MS Office products and CMMS) required

Responsibilities

• Plan Preventive/Predictive Work: Create the details (instructions, safety, PPE, parts, tools, resources, duration, sequence) for PM/PdM tasks.
• Plan Corrective Maintenance Work: Turn ad hoc/PM follow-up into fully planned work orders with standardization.
• Lead Planning Prioritization and pre-outage planning meetings.
• Lead the annual PM quality review with maintenance and elevate safety issues.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Storeroom, Procurement, IT and suppliers for data capture and part availability.
• Analyze maintenance metrics and update data (MTBF, PM/PdM effectiveness, etc.).
• Maintain data for equipment, BOMs, drawings, manuals, and tooling requirements.
• Serve as backup Scheduler/Supervisor and assist Reliability Engineer with RCA data.
