Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Planner in Georgia to optimize maintenance operations and coordinate work with technicians, leadership, and stakeholders. You will manage asset data, training support, and spare parts inventory using EAM systems to drive reliability and efficiency.

The role focuses on standardizing workflows, preventive maintenance, and delivering actionable performance insights while enabling teams to succeed and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in United States without visa sponsorship.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3+ years planning, scheduling, and auditing facilities activities.
  • Experience with enterprise software and standard work processes.
  • Strong communication, presentation, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Basic knowledge of financial terms and principles.
  • Intermediate skills with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to solve problems and follow standard instructions.
  • Ability to move up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and conduct regular audits.
  • Provide software training to end users; liaison for system problems.
  • Work with EAM to implement standard coding schemes and PM procedures.
  • Manage work orders for accurate creation, updating, and resolution.
  • Analyze data on parts/assets and recommend enhancements.
  • Publish facility metrics to management.
  • Provide Tier 1 EAM support for the facilities team.
  • Foster positive relationships with client and operations teams.
  • Travel as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

About The Role

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly anticipating issues before they happen, improving processes through data analysis, and enabling technicians and leaders to succeed. You’ll partner closely with maintenance teams, leadership, and corporate stakeholders to standardize workflows, improve preventive maintenance programs, and deliver actionable insights through performance metrics. As a Maintenance Planner, you’ll be the backbone of effective maintenance operations—bringing structure, insight, and strategy to how assets are managed and maintained. You’ll own work planning, asset data, training support, and spare parts inventory while leveraging Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems to drive efficiency and reliability.

What You’ll Do
  • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and conduct audits on a regular basis.
  • Provide software training to end users and new administrators; serves asa liaisonfor system problems.
  • Work with corporate EAM Business Analyst to implement standard object coding schemes, preventive maintenanceproceduresand scheduling.
  • Manage work orders in the system foraccuratecreation, planning, updating, andresolvingwork orders.
  • Perform data analysis on parts/assets and recommend software enhancements and process changes.
  • Measure and publishfacilitymetrics to the management team.
  • Provide support as a Tier 1 EAM for the facilities team.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
  • Ability to travelas needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
What You’ll Need
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • High School Diploma or General Education (GED).
  • Minimum3+ years of related experience; planning, scheduling, and auditing overall facilities/maintenance activities.
  • Experience with enterprise software andunderstanding ofstandard work processes.
  • Effective communication, presentation, problemsolving,and analytical skills.
  • Basic knowledge of financial terms and principles.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to solve problems and carry out general instructions in standard situations suchas;routine maintenance, repairs, preventative measures, emergency responses, coordination, and safety compliance.
  • Ability to move up to 50lbs and physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs / ladders with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in business administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Previousexperience with EAM ASE, data analysis, and asset management preferred.
