Job summary

Horizon Air seeks a Manager Line/Base Maintenance to lead maintenance operations, ensuring airworthiness and compliance across maintenance, fleet services, and shop activities. You will guide priorities, manage performance, and drive safe, cost-effective results.

The role requires a strong A&P background, leadership experience, and compliance with FAA and Horizon regulations, with travel up to 10% and a passport ready for Canada/Mexico travels.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance operations (line/base/maintenance planning)
• 2 years of leadership experience
• Must hold an A&P mechanic certificate
• Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 121 maintenance rules
• Able to travel up to 10% and hold a valid passport

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance operations across multiple teams (PDX, PDR, Fleet, GSE, shops)
• Ensure safety, compliance, reliability, and cost management
• Oversee performance management and develop supervisory staff
• Coordinate with planning and other managers to optimize schedules
• Manage CBA compliance and union relations
