Job summary

Atlas Air Worldwide is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee line maintenance at assigned stations, manage maintenance personnel, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across operations.

The role requires 9–13 years of experience with 747/767/777 or equivalent aircraft, an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate, and proven managerial experience. Expect travel to field locations and cross-functional coordination across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant years of experience.
• FAA Aircraft Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings required.
• Atlas Air qualification and authorization for Airworthiness Release required.
• 9–13 years of experience on 747/767/777 or equivalent wide body and 737NG or equivalent narrow body aircraft.
• Minimum managerial experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides managerial oversight of Maintenance Managers and stations as assigned.
• Coordinates manpower and personnel schedules to provide adequate manpower coverage for line maintenance operations.
• Ensures safety and compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Monitors flight schedules, fleet status and On-Time performance for assigned station(s).
• Coordinates line maintenance requirements with MCC, Workload Planning, Materials, Quality Control, and A/C Planning Departments.
