Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Supervising Maintenance Technician to oversee a team operating material handling equipment, controls systems, and scanners. You will set performance expectations, coach staff, and ensure timely maintenance and safety compliance.

The role requires experience in industrial maintenance, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage budgets and QA-driven improvements. A high school diploma and related technical education are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• Experience leading project teams or supervising lower level employees preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical power transmission and/or electrical power or machine controls.

Responsibilities

• Coaching, skills development, recognitions and rewards, performance management and staff productivity.
• Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls the day-to-day operations of the department.
• Ensures compliance and addresses variances and budget concerns.
• Communicates quality and safety standards in maintenance tasks per FedEx guidelines.
• Manages CMMS activities and work orders.
• Identifies and proposes improvements to the material handling system.
