Job summary

Responsibilities include leading a team, planning daily operations, ensuring safety, budgeting, and facilitating improvements in maintenance practices and CMMS processes. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in light industrial such as electrical, mechanical engineering technology, etc., logistics management or related field preferred.
• Two years industrial maintenance experience required plus six years of combined maintenance and/or people management experience; or four years with relevant degree.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop staff; manage performance and productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, and direct day-to-day operations of the department.
• Ensure budget compliance and address variances.
• Communicate quality and safety expectations aligned with FedEx standards.
• Oversee CMMS tasks and maintenance work orders.
• Provide expertise in electrical/mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
• Lead process improvements in material handling and equipment.
