Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support the industrial maintenance of material handling systems. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance, diagnose faults, and repair mechanical, electrical and PLC/controls components using established procedures.

The role requires reading schematics, using EAM software, and collaborating with higher level technicians. Flexibility with shifts and a focus on safety are expected.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years experience in Industrial Maintenance with proficiency in mechanical power transmission, electrical and working knowledge of PLC/Controls and welding/fabrication skills.
• Ability to interpret electrical or mechanical schematics, manuals and engineering specifications to troubleshoot and repair system faults.
• Experience with EAM software and standard office tools to document work.
• Preference for additional certifications related to industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and PLC/controls faults; interpret schematics and manuals.
• Read and update data in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
• Work with safety standards and participate in required trainings.
• Collaborate with higher level technicians on complex control systems and projects.
