Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to service and repair its fleet and ground support equipment. You will document work, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT standards.

You will lead technicians and trainees, perform repairs across hydraulic, electrical, diesel and hybrid systems, and support a safe, efficient operation in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training preferred; ASE Master certification preferred.
• Four (4) years fleet, automotive or truck vehicle advanced technical repair and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting hydraulic, gasoline, diesel, electric, and/or hybrid motorized equipment; PC proficiency; teamwork; English reading/writing for traffic signs and FMCSA inquiries.
• Must meet FMCSA safety regulations; medical exam required; testing for alcohol & drugs; non-covered safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely, quality maintenance for FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment.
• Documents work and maintains inventory using FedEx computer systems.
• Ensures work is in accordance with OSHA and DOT standards.
• Guides and supports a staff of technicians and trainees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
