Job summary

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) seeks a Superintendent, Maintenance & Operations to lead the operation, maintenance and repair of automatic substations and related equipment.

You will coordinate power delivery, outages and routine maintenance to ensure safe, reliable signaling power for the IRT/BMT lines. The role requires strong industrial management skills and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

Baccalaureate degree in Industrial Management or related field.
Five (5) years of professional experience.
Two (2) years of managerial/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate power distribution and substation maintenance for automatic substations.
Oversee emergency power restoration and coordination with district operators.
Prepare reports detailing conditions affecting subway service for senior management.
