Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of a 244-unit midrise community. You will diagnose and repair issues, manage make-ready tasks, and uphold Greystar quality standards across grounds and interiors.

Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, inspecting work, and supporting budget goals while maintaining safety compliance and excellent resident service. On-site schedule includes evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must have hand tools and be able to use them safely.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues per policy and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate with vendors.
• Inspect grounds, exteriors, and common areas to uphold Greystar standards.
• Supervise contractors and ensure quality work.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools; assist in budgeting and cost control.
