Job summary

The position requires a strong background in industrial mechanics, leadership, and project management, with certification milestones for ammonia refrigeration to be achieved over time.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years’ experience in an Industrial Mechanics/related position or equivalent technical background.
• 5 years in a leadership and/or project management role.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional communication.
• After one year, achieve operator 1 certification from an Ammonia Refrigeration training center.
• After 3 years, achieve operator 2 certification from an Ammonia Refrigeration training center.

Responsibilities

• Manages maintenance supervisors and technicians to meet and exceed maintenance standards.
• Leads response to line breakdowns and performs failure analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Mentors and develops associates, providing training and growth opportunities.
• Provides cost estimates and scope of work for new projects and reports monthly progress.
• Ensures compliance with Safety, GMP, SOP, SSOP, HACCP, SQF policies and participates in HACCP Team.
