Job summary

Groma is seeking a Maintenance Operations Co-op to join our Boston team. You will be the primary contact for maintenance tasks across our residential portfolio, coordinating between residents, in-house technicians, vendors, and property teams.

The role requires excellent communication, organization, and problem solving, with responsibilities spanning maintenance requests, scheduling, records, and on-site inspections. Work schedule supports a 40-hour week with alternating shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in customer service, administration, or hospitality.
• Strong communication and phone skills.
• Experience in real estate, construction, or property management is a plus.
• Proficient with Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Field all inbound maintenance requests from residents via phone, email, and resident portal.
• Triaging and prioritizing maintenance issues; dispatching in-house technicians or contractors.
• Manage scheduling and follow-up to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of all work orders, billing and completion details.
• Assist with on-site inspections for turnovers and quarterly property checks.
• Conduct quarterly supply inventory audits.
• Assist with move-in/move-out walkthroughs.
