Job summary

Froedtert ThedaCare seeks an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to care for hospital buildings and essential equipment at the Menomonee Falls facility. You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance across HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and grounds-keeping, while supporting others and mentoring new staff.

Minimum 5 years of building maintenance experience is required; a High School diploma or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in building maintenance or plant operations.
• Experience leading maintenance activities and training staff.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hospital facility buildings and equipment.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance across trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Assist and train new hires; uphold trade standards and safety.

Job Summary

This customer serviced focused position is responsible for the facility maintenance of buildings and equipment essential to the operations in a clinic or hospital setting. Performs a variety of repair work, general maintenance and mechanical maintenance. Which includes HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and grounds-keeping. Supports other maintenance mechanics with higher level skillset and specialty work to troubleshoot issues. Provides training and assessment of new hires and continued training of maintenance mechanics on a variety of trade standards.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of 5 years of Building maintenance or plant operations experience is required.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: None. EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent is required.

EDUCATION PREFERRED: None. TRAINING REQUIRED: In depth knowledge in areas of HVAC, Building Automation, Refrigeration, Electrical, Plumbing, Pevco and Locksmith.

TRAINING PREFERRED: None. SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Leadership qualities and training experience.

SPECIAL SKILLS PREFERRED: None. LICENSURE REQUIRED: Valid driver’s license is required.

LICENSURE PREFERRED: MECH certification or equivalent is preferred.
