Job summary

Genpak is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems on a 12-hour shift. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, troubleshooting of pneumatics and hydraulics, and adherence to PM and safety programs.

The candidate will work with the Shift Supervisor to maximize uptime, manage tools and parts, and ensure accurate documentation. A GED/HS diploma and 3 years of maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience including welding, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment and building
• Coordinate with Shift Supervisor to optimize production uptime
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety programs with proper documentation
• Maintain tools, parts inventory and correct stocking in Infor system
• Repair extrusion/thermoforming machinery and diagnose problems
• Follow shutdown/startup procedures and assist with audits
