Job summary

Genpak in Charlotte, NC is seeking a maintenance technician to keep all equipment and the facility in peak condition. The role requires performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and daily upkeep to maximize production uptime while following safety procedures.

Commitment to shift work and ability to coordinate with supervisors is essential. A high school diploma and 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience including welding, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and buildings to ensure high production uptime.
• Coordinate with Shift Supervisor on shift start and priorities.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedules and document results.
• Repair and troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Unload incoming materials and maintain parts inventory per system.
• Operate PIT equipment per OSHA standards and follow safety rules.
