Job summary

Eaton’s Fibrebond team in Minden, LA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support the operation and maintenance of concrete production equipment.

The role averages 54 hours per week with core hours 6:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and overtime every other Saturday from 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.

A mechanical maintenance background with the ability to troubleshoot gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulics, and perform routine lubrication is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of mechanical experience in a production environment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily checks on all concrete producing equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Make repairs to gearboxes, conveyor belts, motor removal and replacement, bearing changes, etc.
• Perform routine lubrication duties as scheduled in maintenance software.
• Coordinate with production to ensure smooth carousel operation.
• Monitor moving parts for wear patterns and report anomalies to the supervisor.
• Assist maintenance supervisor and other crews as needed.
