Job summary

Fibrebond, an Eaton company, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Minden, LA to support concrete production equipment at our plant. The role targets high-quality mechanical work across batch plants, conveyors, and related machinery.

You will perform daily checks, repairs, lubrication, and coordination with supervisors to ensure efficient operations. Overtime is required; valid driver’s license is a must. Salary range sits at $29.70-$36.96 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years mechanical experience in a production environment.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• No immigration sponsorship or relocation support offered.
• Candidates within 50 miles of Minden, LA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily checks on concrete production equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Repair gearboxes, conveyors, motors, bearings and related parts.
• Perform routine lubrication and maintenance as scheduled.
• Work with production staff to ensure smooth carousel and equipment operation.
• Monitor wear and communicate anomalies to supervision.
