Jobot is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our industrial battery manufacturing facility in Darien. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to maximize uptime, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (battery, chemical, automotive, or similar)
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial equipment, automation, or high-speed production lines
• Experience working with sheet metals and transfer press machinery preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Experience with CMMS systems for tracking maintenance activities preferred
• Forklift and/or crane certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production machinery.
• Maintain and repair equipment including compressors, engines, motors, pneumatic tools and systems, conveyors, cranes, and material handling equipment.
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential failures.
• Respond quickly to downtime and perform root cause analysis to minimize recurrence.
• Support installation, relocation, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders.
• Follow safety protocols, including high-voltage battery systems and hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve reliability.

Key Responsibilities
