Job summary

Jobot seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician for our industrial manufacturing site in Connecticut. The role focuses on installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of production equipment and facility systems to maximize uptime, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing (battery/chemical/auto preferred).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial equipment, automation, or high-speed production lines.
• Experience with sheet metals and transfer press machinery is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production machinery
• Maintain and repair equipment including: compressors, engines, and motors; pneumatic tools and systems; conveyors and automated lines
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential failures before they occur
• Respond quickly to equipment downtime and perform root cause analysis to minimize recurrence
• Support installation, relocation, and commissioning of new equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation
• Follow safety protocols, including high-voltage battery systems and hazardous materials
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve equipment reliability and performance

Key Responsibilities

• Experience with CMMS systems for tracking maintenance activities preferred
• Forklift and/or crane certification is a plus
