Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 4 years’ experience as a mechanic, maintenance mechanic, or millwright.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints and related drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, overhaul, modify and repair machinery and stationary equipment (conveyors, hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, PLCs).
• Inspect machinery to detect malfunctions and take preventive or corrective action.
• Perform pre- and post-operational checks ensuring safety devices function properly.
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, schematics, and process specs to guide work.
• Collaborate with production to complete maintenance in a timely fashion.
