Job summary

A-dec is seeking an LME Technician II to maintain CNC equipment and sustain optimum plant efficiency at our Newberg, Oregon facility. You will utilize preventive maintenance to drive reliability, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and work with operations to improve machine performance.

The role requires 5–7 years of hands-on experience, read electrical schematics, and proficiency with CMMS (CribMaster). HazMat and Oregon LME credentials are valued and expected within the first year.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience maintaining and repairing equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical control/drive systems up to 480V and VFDs.
• Experience with electronic instrumentation (scopes, meters).
• Experience with PLCs and control systems.
• Knowledge of NEC and Oregon Electric Code.
• HazMat certification current or within first year.
• Oregon LME card held or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical machine electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Work with supervisor and trainer to maintain equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot electrical control/drive systems and 3-phase power up to 480V.
• Assist in moderately complex department projects.
• Lead maintenance projects to improve machine reliability.
• Maintain maintenance records in the CMMS and order spares.
• Cross-train on machines to act as backup.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance across the plant.
• Adhere to ISO, OSHA, and DEQ requirements.
