Maintenance Mechanics are involved in routine tasks, such as lubrication of machinery, seal replacement, cleaning of parts during repair, adjusting valves and seals, investigating breakdowns, removing, and replacing motors, starters, relays, limit switches, fuses, primary control components.
Must be able to read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Must be able to safety and correctly use hand and power tools. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems, control and power electrical systems, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics and focus on problem solving issues.
Responsibilities and skills in but not limited to; installing, maintaining, dismantling, and repairing new and existing machinery or equipment and its components such as machining centers, press brakes, burn tables, mechanical clutches, gear boxes, control and power electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
